Animating Principle Fees

For privacy reasons, and to maintain the integrity of my process, I never work directly with insurance companies. Upon request, I will provide a monthly super bill that you can submit to your insurance for reimbursement purposes. I do not guarantee insurance reimbursement; all fees are the responsibility of the client and are due at the time of service. If you are seeking reimbursement, I recommend verifying reimbursement with your insurance company prior to scheduling an appointment.

Psychotherapy

Individual Psychotherapy (adult, child, and teen):
$450/45-minute weekly session

Parent Session:
$500/45-minute as-needed session

Family Psychotherapy:
$550/45-minute as-needed session

*NEW CLIENTS* For adults, a 60-minute intake is required for a fee of $750. For children and teens, a 120-minute intake is required for a fee of $1,500. This includes a 45-minute child assessment and a 75-minute parent intake. In some cases, it is possible to waive the parent intake for teens 14 and older. 

*Please note that non-weekly sessions psychotherapy sessions are charged at a higher rate. Every-other-week sessions will be charged an additional $50 and monthly sessions will be charged an additional $100 per 45-minute sessions, as non-weekly appointments complicate scheduling and preclude us from scheduling a weekly client in that spot.

Child and Teen Mentoring

Child/Teen mentoring:
$350/45-minute as-needed meeting

Adult Coaching and Consulting

Individual Adult Coaching:
$350/45-minute as-needed meeting

Consulting:
Fees dependent on specific consulting service provided. Please contact for more information.

*Animating Principle offers boutique therapy and coaching. In order to maintain the highest quality of service, Animating Principle is thoughtful and selective about taking on new cases in order to manage the amount of clients at any given time. As such, Animating Principle does not offer reduced fee or sliding scale options.
