Animating Principle’s owner and CEO, Britney Holthouser, LMFT (lic.#102221) is excited to announce her second location in Montrose. After witnessing the devastating mental health effects of COVID-19, Britney, and her husband, Sean, brainstormed ideas to serve a wider range of the community. They circled around a few before the lightbulb moment, Animating Principle’s Workshop!

These last few years have been brutal, with children and teens hit especially hard by the pandemic. Positive in-person social connection is desperately needed. Britney combined her years of clinical experience with Sean’s background in Human Resources to hire Associate Therapists who exemplify Animating Principle’s values and mission.

Next, they found the perfect location to build a modern, creative, innovative space for Britney and Associates to conduct art and group therapy and personal enrichment classes for all ages. Therapy Associates will also utilize this new space to provide lower-cost individual and family therapy to children, teens, and adults. All cases will be supervised by Britney, so clients can be assured that they are receiving the same next-level care that Animating Principle is known for.

Britney and Sean are anticipating that the new location will be fully operational by January 2023. Clients receiving services from Associates (starting in November) will be seen at the Animating Principle location until the Workshop location is ready for use.
